Unpeated and matured in a combination of first fill and re-fill American Oak casks, the short finish in Oloroso sherry promotes the subtle dried fruits and spice.
Renowned for it’s coastal Scotch whisky, the Glen Scotia distillery, located in Campbeltown on the Kintyre Peninsula of Scotland, dates back to 1832. Producing both peated and unpeated single malt Scotch whisky, this release, matured in a combination of sherry and American oak casks, is unpeated and exhudes a rich complexity from the cask.
Citrus, apple pie and ginger on the nose. Spicy but not overwhelming with vanilla and fruit on the palate. Caramelised sugar, apricots, ginger and cinnamon.
