The Single Malts

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane

An experimental release from the usually unpeated Glenfiddich distillery. A sweet and smoky fusion, using light - medium peated barley and Latin rum casks for additional sweetness and rich oak. Soft peat notes around sweet toffee and oak. Citrus and fruit notes, sweet rum, dried fruits and sweet baked apples.

Tobermory 12

The unpeated expression from the Tobermory distillery. Medium bodied, vibrant fruit and spice, maritime notes and malty undertones. Without the peat Tobermory’s floral and fruity character is enhanced. Soft, palatable with malty and nutty tones. Matured in ex-bourbon casks promoting vanilla and oak spice.

Ledaig 10

The peated expression at the Tobermory distillery, how does it compare? Will you be able to identify which are from the same distilleries through their underlying character? Ledaig is medium - heavily peated and matured in ex-bourbon casks.

Bruichladdich Classic Laddie 10

Oily, complex and unique. Showcasing Bruichladdich’s floral and elegant spirit. Golden barley, fresh fruit, sweet oak and wild flowers. Instead of a recipe set in stone, Bruichladdich says their foundation is a distilling philosophy. They are always sourcing a variety of casks and experimenting with new flavours. Exposed to the Atlantic storms at their coastal distillery, the fresh marine salt-citrus tang is the signature style of Bruichladdich.

Port Charlotte 10

The heavily peated Port Charlotte (peated to 40ppm) is a rich and aromatic spirit. Elegant, oily and full bodied, powerful peat smoke with Bruichladdich's classic marine character. Matured in first fill and second fill American oak casks and 25% second fill French wine casks, there is a balance between the smoke, spice and sweetness from the oak.

Octomore 13.3 5 Year Old/10.4 Virgin Oak

The super heavily peated Octomore defies everything we think we know about whisky. Through heavily charring their barrels and using state-of-the-art equipment, they can draw a huge amount of flavour from the barrel in very little time. The extreme levels of peat balance with bold oak and heat. With bottles going for £170+, the taste of Octomore is a unique experience, but you want to know you like it before you buy!
