“Me and my friends did a blind tasting experience over Zoom which worked really well. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of whisky in each bottle and really enjoyed the journey. The 3 whiskies were definitely chosen in a specific order and as we had a mix of people who either knew what they liked or were just getting into whisky, the order worked really well. The tasting notes were great, very informative and overall well designed.

“ We tried the Azu Mini Scotch Whisky box. Delivery was prompt and items were in perfect condition. Beautifully designed packaging and the photography included in the booklet was gorgeous. Very impressed too, with the lots of thoughtful unique touches that were included, such as the tasting cards and labels to put on the whiskies. We felt like we received a carefully selected variety, personal favourite was the Ardbeg! Though it always feels good to support a small, female led business, into the bargain we were incredibly impressed with what can only be described as a high quality, individual product and we will be looking forward to purchasing again very soon!”

“ I hadn’t ordered from Azu before but ordered the Great British Gin box, to do a blind tasting with 2 other people. So happy with it, we had a fantastic evening! The gins are clearly numbered, and the pack comes with information cards that correspond with the numbers, so it’s really easy to plan out the tasting. There’s also a really interesting information booklet about the history of gin and how it’s made.

I’ve never done a blind tasting before and I realised how much you judge a drink if you already know the brand - so much better to taste without knowing. The box is really varied so I also discovered a new favourite. The price is extremely reasonable considering how much gin you get in each bottle - 3 of us tasted all of them with generous measures and then each bottle had lots leftover. Overall so happy with the box and will definitely be buying again for friends, and for my next lockdown celebration!”
